Report by Monalisa Banda: On Tuesday 10th January, Year 5 went to the Royal Opera House in London to see Romeo and Juliet. We travelled by train. The ballet was really good and very long. Before the ballet we went behind the stage and saw props for the Mikado and men practising making real fire. We also saw the ballet dancers warming up in their studio. They were amazing because they made no noise when they landed and they jumped so high! We liked the way that they showed their emotions on their faces and the sword fighting was very exciting. After we had lunch we saw the ballet. We had wonderful seats and the ceiling was beautifully decorated with gold as was the front of the balcony.
