Year 3 are Vikings for the Day

Eloise reported:  At the end of last term we had a Viking feast.  We tried black pudding, cottage cheese, chicken wings, really nice bread with honey and forest fruits. Mrs Thomas made our classroom look like a Viking longhouse.  She lined up the desks on each side and covered them with brightly coloured material.  We all lay on the tables except Alice and Daisy.  Daisy lay on the floor and Alice lay on some seats. Rebecca, Bonnie and I did a play using the Viking puppets we had made in DT.  I told a riddle and a joke. Mr Bennett (our Catering Manager) came and told some riddles and jokes and Daisy did a poem.
