‘Sports Science Day’ at St Mary’s Calne School. We travelled from Leaden Hall in the school minibus and Miss Whatmore’s car. There were four other schools involved including St Margaret’s and Knighton House School. When we arrived we were split into groups called ‘Waves’, ‘Olympians’ and ‘Rockets’. We participated in various scientific experiments: exploding Jelly Babies, burning crisps with a Bunsen burner and showing that sweets can represent energy. In the afternoon we played Pop Lacrosse. Overall it was a very educational and fun trip. Sports Science Day at St Mary's Calne
