Reception Class at Salisbury Museum

On Tuesday 28th February the Reception Class visited Salisbury Museum. We went to see the costume gallery where there were beautiful old fashioned clothes for us to try on.  We saw a little girl with a purple dress, black shoes and a pink necklace; this was Tamara, Sophia and Ava’s favourite.  Madeleine spotted a little boy playing with some animals and a Noah’s ark toy, and Matilda B noticed that there were two of each animal.  Matilda C and India liked looking at the bobbins and a lady making lace.  We also sang “Wind the bobbin up”!  There was an old fashioned Doctor’s surgery and Florence was worried about the butcher who had cut his hand.  We wentimage downstairs to look at the Giant and Tabitha noticed how he nearly touched the ceiling!  There was also a very old fire engine and Sophie spotted the flames coming out of the house. We all liked patting the sheep and Allison decided he could be called “Woolly”. Esme noticed a huge bell that was hanging from the wooden beam. We all enjoyed ourselves and would love to go back with our mummies and daddies to try on more clothes!
