Chamber Choir visits Monkton School
A selection of girls from the Chamber Choir travelled to Monkton School in Bath on Thursday, to take part in a choral workshop day. Monkton made us very welcome, and we started rehearsing at 10.45am with over 100 other singers. All the music was new to everybody on the day, but by 3.15pm we had six items ready to perform, and the sound was very impressive! It was good for our girls to experience working with some slightly older children, and they certainly did Leaden Hall proud - even if all they remember from the day is the cake!
