Learning Support

At Leaden Hall we recognise that girls develop at different stages.  For those who need extra help there is a dedicated Learning Support Unit where girls are taught using cumulative, multi-sensory programmes on a one-to-one basis, thus reinforcing their class work.
Where necessary Pre-Prep girls are put into booster groups to enhance their learning.  From Year 3 onwards support is provided through one to one lessons using an Individual Educational Plan drawn up by the teacher and the SEN teacher.
Leaden Hall understands the difficulties faced by pupils with Special Educational Needs.  Qualified staff within the Learning Support Department use their knowledge and expertise to help girls realise their own potential.  Individual targets are set which are reinforced throughout relevant areas of the curriculum.
