At Leaden Hall School we understand that our hard working families sometimes need support beyond our normal school hours, so we provide a range of activities to suit all tastes and needs. Children can also join our boarders for breakfast and supper on request or sign up to our many lunchtime and afterschool clubs.
Lunchtime clubs and afterschool activities vary each term depending on the weather. During the warmer months outdoor games such as tennis, boules and gardening are popular, while in the winter months we include skills in cooking, crochet and chess. Some clubs run all the year round, such as judo, gym, ballet and drama, also art and craft, but other clubs might be more academic such as languages or exam preparation. Essentially our clubs are for fun so we hope your daughters will make their selections first. Most clubs require a termly sign-up, however we also run daily non-specific activities after school for any children on request without notice. These are run by our lively boarding team and are a time for the girls to play games or just enjoy each other’s company.
