Boarders love boarding at Leaden Hall. The younger girls up to Year 5 live in the main house in cosy attic dorms and the Year 6 girls have their own cottage close by in De Vaux Place. We have full boarders, weekly boarders and some girls just stay a few nights a week. We even have daygirls who board at weekends just for fun!
Virtually every term theChildren leave the classroom to extend their knowledge of the outside world. Salisbury is the centre of some of the most historic sights in the country. The trips include Stonehenge, Rockbourne Roman Villa, Fishbourne Roman Palace, Old Sarum and our own cathedral. Further afield the girls travel to London, Hampton Court and Bath. Field studies include residential trips to the Isle of Wight and Calshot.

Activities are very important at Leaden Hall and are designed to develop healthy minds and bodies.
We have formed international partnerships with schools in Spain, Italy, France, Poland, Czech Republic and South Africa. We work with our European friends on joint projects and keep them informed by using ICT. We send letters and gifts. There is also chance to join our colleagues in their schools and stay in their homes with their families.
The school has International School Award status.

There are few places left in Britain where a sense of community is central to the lives of its people. School can provide a spirit of co-operation where we can all learn to work together for the common good.
At Leaden Hall we pride ourselves as being at the forefront of modern technology. Our computer suite comprises 20 wireless networked laptop computers with 30 more linked workstations around the school in classrooms and in the library. Our ICT room is always bursting with activity and is open all day for lessons or spare time for pupils and staff. From Nursery to the top of the school all the children enjoy cross-curricular ICT instruction from specialist teachers and their class teachers. It is a supportive tool for all subjects and we love it. PC = Pretty Cool!
