HOPE PLEYDELL-BOUVERIE, PERDY LEESE, FLORA MARKING & KATINKA BROGAARD
Hope Pleydell-Bouverie, Perdy Leese, Flora Marking and Katinka Brogaard represented Leaden Hall at the Inter-Schools Team Show Jumping at Lewestone School near Sherborne. The girls did brilliantly and came second overall. They were one of only two teams that completed the competition with double clear rounds. The girls said it was a "great day, full of team spirit and fun" They did Leaden Hall proud!
CHARLOTTE LUCAS
Congratulations to Charlotte Lucas who scored her first 'Hole in One' at Hamptworth Golf Club in her first match for Wiltshire.
ALEX MUNDELL
Alex, age 11, ran in the Wiltshire Athletic Association County Championships in Swindon on Sunday 13th May 2007. She competed in the girls Under 13 category and WON it with the time of 2 minutes and 54 seconds. This means Alex is now the Wiltshire County Under 13s 800m champion. Well done Alex!
SOPHIE HAINE
Congratulations to Leaden Hall's Sophie Haine who is one of just 64 girls from across the whole country to win through to the finals of the Road to Wimbledon junior tennis initiative.
Amy Parsons
On Sunday, 17th June 2007 Amy competed at the Wiltshire School of Gymnastics in the County Grades against other gym clubs in Wiltshire. Amy said "It was a great day and my first big competition. My first piece of apparatus was the vault, followed by the bars and then beam and finally floor. It was very exciting and when they announced the results my tummy had butterflies!" Amy scored 45,000 points which meant she passed her Grade 4 and came 3rd overall gaining a bronze medal.
