| - A prospectus that appeals directly to potential pupils - rather than their parents - is designed to capture children's imaginations
"At Leaden Hall School we decided to rethink how we could better express the quality of the education we offer. We knew from children who visited the school that we had got the education right in an environment that made each child feel happy, secure and keen to learn. The obvious step for our prospectus was to appeal to the children. So the idea of the Leaden Hall Big Book was born, a story of a child's visit to the school, in a format that was familiar and captured the imagination. I wrote the story and it was illustrated by Vanessa Hibbert, a parent who, through her children, knew the school inside out and was able to capture all the aspects that other adults may have overlooked."
